Suzanne Begnoche earned a B.A. from Duke University, and a J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Because of her dual basketball loyalties, she thinks of herself as a “Tar Devil.” Before going into private practice, Suzanne was a staff attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc., which offers free representation to low-income citizens.

Suzanne is admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts, in the federal courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and in the tribal courts of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She is a member of the N.C. State Bar, the Fourteenth Judicial District Bar, the N.C. Bar Association, and the Durham County Bar Association.

Suzanne is affiliated with both the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, where she currently chairs the Consumer Areas of Practice section. She is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. She volunteers with The Women’s Center Legal Information Service program and the Call 4ALL pro bono program. She also participates regularly in pro bono activities with the North Carolina Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Suzanne was a project manager at several software companies in Research Triangle Park. She and husband Pavan Reddy live in Durham.
